- To enjoy good health:
Good health is necessary for happiness and success. Those who do not possess good health cannot enjoy any happiness in life. Life appears to be burden on them .We can keep our self healthy by knowing and carefully observing the rules of health. The main rule is, regular exercise. Exercise keeps us healthy .It brings glow to our face and gives us energy to do work.
- To reduce extra fat:
In our day to day life we consume junk food, fried food and so much. Due to which we face the problem of obesity. We must eat good, plain and wholesome food. We must eat as much as is required to satisfy our hunger.
Along with healthy food we must take physical exercise regularly to reduce extra cholesterol from our body.
- For proper blood circulation:
Increases in daily activity can come from small changes made throughout our day, such as walking or cycling instead of using the car, hiring a tram, train or bus and walking the rest of the way, or dropping the children to school on foot. These types of exercises help in proper blood circulation. We must not remain idle, instead should work hard. ”An idle man’s brain is the devil’s workshop”. An idle man cannot enjoy good health and happiness. Exercise is spice of life, so one should be indulged in a good habit of regular exercise.
- To maintain discipline in life:
Regular exercise habit makes us disciplined. One who is regular in his workout, he plans the things or whole day work accordingly. He becomes punctual in his life and is liked by everyone. As we have heard the proverb, ”early to bed and early to rise , makes a man healthy , wealthy and wise”. Regular exercise habit makes the person disciplined, healthy and punctual.
- For sound sleep:
To maintain health and reduce risk of health problems, a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity is must for a person. After the physical activity ,he is tired and gets sound sleep, which is necessary for all o f us to be fit and healthy.
- To reduce depression and anxiety:
Regular exercise can protect our heart, keep blood pressure and cholesterol levels healthy, maintain a healthy body weight, and protect against diabetes. All of these issues are risk factors for suffering a stroke, so exercise also helps to protect against stroke. Exercise also helps to protect against depression, and helps us better manage stress. Any sport distracts us because it helps us not to think about school, friends, problems, among other things. It gives time to think about our self instead of others and it helps us keep our mind busy and to avoid dangerous habits.
- To avoid mental stress
To enjoy good health, our life must be free from tension, nervous and mental strain which paralyze the vital parts of our body so much that no amount of nourishment can revitalize them. A man suffering from mental strain can hardly be found enjoying radiant health.
Physical activity or exercise can improve health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve quality of life and gives stress free life.
- For cardiovascular fitness:
According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular disease causes 12 million deaths in the world each year. Cardiovascular disease or cardiovascular diseases is the class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels. A stroke happens when a blood vessel that feeds the brain gets blocked, usually from a blood clot. When the blood supply to a part of the brain is shut off, brain cells will die. Regular exercise is must to avoid cardiovascular disease.
- To maintain social circle:
If a person goes out regularly for exercise, he meets many people and be friend with each other. In this way exercising with friend make fun and will get much to learn from them.
So, we should all get into the habit of exercising regularly right now. If all of us now begin a routine of staying in shape, keeping in mind that it will make us healthier, give us a better state of mind, and body, we can make the future years of our lives more rewarding.
